Princess and I had the chance to have some Mummy/Daughter time today for the first time since baby was born. She mentioned a couple of days ago that we haven't had any time out together for ages, and at first I thought we'd had plenty of time together, but as she pointed out, we always have the baby with us, because he is breastfed on demand. My poor little girl was craving some one-on-one time with me. So with today being a public holiday we took the chance to head off to the park together for some golf and a fun photo scavenger hunt. It was so lovely just being with her and listening to her talk and laugh and just being silly together without a baby in my arms. And look at her. Look how beautiful she is.

In over 35 years I only got a couple times with my dad without someone else who talks more than either of us bumping along for the time.
She really is an amazing person to be around! And yes, I know what you mean, my four all have pretty outgoing personalities, and the older three talk a lot lol, so someone is always feeling like they're not able to get a word in - usually her because she's the youngest of them.
